Counseling requires commitment...

…but the results are worth it.

As your counselor, I will guide you and support you through the process of uncovering what’s keeping you and/or your loved one stuck and help you achieve the life and relationship you desire.

Together, we will explore parts of you and your relationship that have been hidden under the surface. We’ll bring them to light, take inventory of what’s there, learn how to use your strengths to move you forward, and let go of the habits that are no longer serving you.

We’ll look at past experiences and how they’ve come to shape who you are today. I’ll help you look at your past from a new perspective – a perspective of strength, courage, and healing.

While this process requires commitment, I will be there to support you and guide you along the way. You will end up feeling so much better. You will feel happier, more peaceful, and more content with yourself – the impact on your relationship will be clear.

What are you waiting for? Allow me to help you get started on your journey!

A Little About Me: Melissa Douglas

Melissa DouglasFrom an early age I was always curious about what people were doing and why they were doing it.  As I got older, I realized that my curiosity was a useful tool to help serve people by providing a supportive place for people to grow.

Eventually my desire to help others understand themselves and make the changes they desired led me to pursue my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Gonzaga University.

I’ve worked with various clients from children struggling in school to elders grieving from the loss of a spouse.  Through these experiences, I was drawn particularly to helping couples understand each other and learn to communicate effectively.

When I’m not counseling, I enjoy traveling and cooking recipes from all over the world or spending time with my husband and four children outdoors.

Originally from the Philippines, I am also comfortable counseling in Filipino and addressing multi-cultural issues.
